"WATER COAL DERIVED FUEL"
What is it?
Water coal derived fuel (VUT) represents finely divided mix of the crushed coal (70%), waters (30%) and the stabilizing additive. On appearance is liquid fuel with broad range of viscosity, depending on concentration of particles of coal and degree of their dispersion.
On physical properties of VUT it is close to the fuel oil used in boiler rooms and therefore it can be used for heat generation and electricity on gas, black oil and coal thermal power plants is similar to gas and fuel oil. The VUT physical and chemical properties allow to reach efficiency of fuel burning not lower than 98%.
Advantages of VUT
- thorough burning of drops of VUT from small crushed coal increases efficiency of usable fuel and reduces emissions of noxious gases in the atmosphere in comparison with fuel oil and coal;
- water coal derived fuel of explosion is also fireproof;
- stable burning of liquid VUT gives the chance of installation of the steam turbine generators for power production similar to the turbine generators using fuel oil as power source;
- water coal derived fuel can be prepared with use of the water polluted by organic chemistry, pitches, oil products and other waste
- the ashes received as a result of combustion of VUT are ready-made product for production of construction materials;
- water coal derived fuel is produced not only from bituminous coal and coal slime, but also from brown coal and peat.
Alternative
Water coal derived fuel is alternative of use of traditional fuel oil and coal on thermal power plants. Modernization of the equipment under use of water coal derived fuel is possible in all boiler rooms using fuel oil, gas or coal. VUT can be burned in the majority existing (acting) steam and boilers.
Innovations
Water coal derived fuel - the innovation product therefore the technology of its production, applications, transportations and utilization is constantly improved.
Ecology
Water coal derived fuel exceeds traditional power sources in the ecological characteristics. Also water coal derived fuel as nonconventional type of fuel, can compete on environmental friendliness with alternative energy sources, in particular with biofuel.
SUMMARY
- The dispersive structure of VUT made on new technology can be tens times less, than VUT received in the traditional way.
- It considerably improves the VUT operational properties, bringing closer them to properties of diesel fuel and can be used in diesel engines of internal combustion.
- Finely divided VUT can be also used in traditional boilers on diesel fuel the Cost of VUT received on new technology is similar to the cost of traditional VUT.
The particle size distribution of the fuel received on old technology to be in range of 0 - 75 microns.
The particle size distribution of the fuel received on new technology can be in range of 0 - 0,1 microns or larger. Increase in particle size in fuel, reduces its cost of production.
